The Phenom Summer Havoc has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the coverage stops there as we want to talk a little bit more about what we saw on the court throughout the last four days. Here are a few topics that I was able to view at the event.

Carolina Clutch has been a staple with Phenom Hoops, bringing in some intriguing talent each time they take the court. A player that Phenom Hoops introduced to everyone over two years ago was 2024 Richard Goods (Click Here), as he was a new name that we shared and immediately put on everyone’s watch list (and he will be back again for the Phenom Hardwood Classic).

Well, we are here to introduce you once again to another name with the program that caught our eyes. 2026 6’5 Nicholas Daniel should be another player from the program to put on your watch list, as he had a very good showing at the Phenom Summer Havoc.

At the event, we had this to say:

“An intriguing prospect to watch out for is 2026 6’5 Nicholas Daniel (Carolina Clutch). A young player with a great frame, who was able to produce in a variety of ways. Strong finisher and even stepped out for a three.”

Daniel’s size and physical maturity should quickly grab your attention but then you dive more into his game, there is a lot to like and what he potentially could be.  Standing at 6’5, he is able to produce in a variety of ways; whether it is being a strong presence around the basket and finishing or his ability to operate and make plays off the bounce, Daniel can hurt you in a variety of ways. He is strong in putting it on the deck at his size, finding the open spots from a variety of levels, and simply just being a physical force on the court.

This is why he should be added to your watch list, as he continues to develop.
