Players: Samantha Shehan/ 2025 Alexis Shehan
Class: 2025
School: Lake Norman
Lake Norman proved that they were one of the top teams in the state last year, finishing the season 31-1 overall and making an appearance in the state championship game. And though the Wildcats have lost some key players, it seems that this program isn’t slowing down any time soon with the talent they have.
But this is a team that will have new leaders stepping up this year even more, as 2025 Samantha and Alexis Shehan return after an impressive sophomore season. The sisters are coming off a strong sophomore campaign, with Samantha averaging 14.7ppg while Alexis averaging 11.4ppg. With another year of experience under their belt, these two look to have even bigger seasons as they are two of the clear leaders on the floor for Lake Norman.
With the style this team plays at and the skillset both possess, the Shehans have an opportunity to shine as primary weapons once again on the court. Both have size, both have tremendous skillsets and can operate from multiple levels, they can score inside and out, and also make plays with their handles out in transition. They impact the game in all facets of the court, and they have only continued to improve their game.
Both have had a strong summer so far and look for both to carry on the winning success at Lake Norman this upcoming season.
