We continue to cover this past week’s Phenom high school team camp, as we had a great opportunity to get an early view of teams and what they may be bringing to the table this upcoming season.

We next roll into a group that certainly has the attention of many, and many are excited to see if these young and talented prospects can take the next step in their development. Orange is coming off a strong 17-10 record from last year, but this is a team that has talent and returns much of its roster. With this roster, it will be interesting to see if this is a program that can take that next step.

When you start with this program though, you have to begin with the rising star they have in the program, 2026 Cole Cloer. Cloer is coming off a freshman campaign in which he averaged 20ppg, 7.5rpg, 3.1apg, 1.5spg, and 1.5bpg, and the scary thing is that he has only gotten better. We have said it time after time, he should be a nationally recognized player by all outlets and has a chance to be targeted by some of the top college programs around the country. He does it all, has a smooth offensive game, uses his size extremely well, and plays with a tremendous IQ and understanding of the game. He will be the clear leader once again for this team, but he will have to elevate his play, even more, to lead this team to bigger things.

Then you look at players like 2026 Kai Wade and 2026 Mason Robinson, two prospects that have bright futures and continue to make strides in their game. Wade is a dynamic, quick guard that can score off the dribble, make plays with his speed, get inside the defense, or knock down shots as well. Robinson has the size you like and could grow even more. He still shows those flashes that you have to like, but there is so much room for growth which has to get you excited. However, he does present a nice presence in the paint and as a defensive anchor.

Orange will be in a much bigger spotlight this season, and this young trio will certainly be part of the team’s success. So, it will be interesting to see what they, along with everyone else on the team, can do this upcoming season.
