Asheville Christian is looking to bounce back in a big way this upcoming season, and though this is a group that brings a team mentality, it was clear that the brother duo of 2024 Brendan Bailey and 2026 Ian Bailey will be two of the clear leaders.

Both Brendan and Ian have been known names for the program, but watching these two in action this summer, you can see that they have only elevated their play in a big way.  Starting with Brendan Bailey, he has had a HUGE summer so far and he has been the definition of production and toughness.  The physically bruising prospect has been a menace on the court, consistently showing his ability to get to the basket, score through contact, and bring a toughness and competitive nature to the court.  Whether he is scoring or battling on the boards, the 6’4 prospect has simply made his presence known.

Then, you look at his younger brother, a player that we have spotlighted on multiple occasions and said back in 2022 that he is one that needs to earn your attention. Now, he is bigger, stronger, and more experienced, Ian only opened more eyes to his potential as a 2026 prospect. He has great size and length, he has tremendous IQ and feel, plays at a terrific pace, shoots the ball well, and has a tremendous feel for where everyone is on the floor.  He simply shines on the court and should only continue to develop.

These two will be key catalysts for Asheville Christian once again, and with how they have developed and elevated their game, the Bailey brothers look to make a statement this upcoming season.
