The Burlington School bleeds red coming from Burlington, North Carolina. This team has won three straight state championships, continuing the success of the team. The Burlington School has so much talent and it showed here at the Phenom High School Team Camp this past weekend. Starting off early on Saturday afternoon, 2025 6’5 guard Devin Sims had the dunk of the day. The dunk was posted on Phenom Hoops’ Instagram and is also trending on YouTube.

This team is hungry for wins each game. Their hustle, motivation, and drive begin all at practice as a team. “It comes with practice; we really challenge each other. It’s about playing with that dog mentality. A lot of the guys are hungry because a lot of them have things to prove and feel like they are not being looked at as much,” assistant coach Damorio Jackson said.

The Burlington School also has 2024 senior Zion Walker who helped lead the team to several wins this past season, averaging about 20 points per game. But this is also a roster full of talent; 2024 Ty Outlaw, 2025 Cam Flippen, 2024 Jordan Durham, 2025 Kaden Hammond, and so many others make up a stacked roster. This team produces a family culture on and off the court and it begins with their coaches, Head Coach and Athletic Director George Marshall, along with Jackson and several others.

Coach Jackson says “The way you are as a coach, should bubble over to the kids. We have that underdog mentality, and it feeds off into our kids.” Make sure to stay tuned with The Burlington School this summer and the upcoming season!
