2026 Cameron Newman (Team Charlotte)

Newman continues to shine as a young rising point guard here in North Carolina, and the future looks bright for him. Not only is he used to playing up against older players, but he also understands how to lead a team. Newman isn’t afraid of the bright lights, elevating his play to lead the charge, create his own scoring opportunities, and also knowing how to run an offense and get everyone involved. Newman, time after time, stepped up in big ways and for a player at his age, he is quite impressive with his leadership qualities.

2025 JD Bowden (Team Curry)

Bowden’s play and growth as a point guard have been impressive. He showed flashes of his potential this past season with United Faith, and he has only continued to build upon that this summer. Now, Bowden is really putting so many on notice that he is a point guard to take seriously. He is a quick, shifty guard that has the ball on a string; he excels out in the open floor and in transition, is able to create paint touches consistently, has nice touch on his floater, and sees the floor really well.

2026 Dionte Neal (CP3)

Neal is such a high-level player, and he can be such a difference-maker on both sides of the court.  Whether he is showcasing his speed, his ability to penetrate and create, or his ability to finish tough play after tough play, Neal simply is one that you want to have the ball in his hands.  And he doesn’t just do it on the offensive end, as he can be an incredible pest defensive that allows him to turn defense into offense quickly.  Neal has been performing at a high level, and he doesn’t look like he is slowing down anytime soon.

2024 Keenan Wilkins (Upward Stars Fagan)

It has been a great few months for Wilkins, but also had been a while since watching him on the court so it was good to see him again. And boy, did he put on a show all throughout the event! Time after time, Wilkins was putting up numbers in a big way and showing how he can be an absolute bucket-getter as well as one that can get everyone involved. Wilkins has shown just how confident he is in finding his shot, whether it is blowing by defenders and getting to the paint or his quick release with range. Wilkins was filling it up big time, but also does a great job in pushing the pace and finding his teammates as well.

2026 Q Williams (CP3)

Williams was yet another smaller point guard that stepped up in big moments in key situations.  When you look at his game, Williams controls the game really well, playing with a ton of poise and under control, seeing the floor well, and running the offense in a timely manner.  But throughout the weekend, Williams also stepped up in key situations in his ability to create timely buckets.  He is one that does a great job leading, helping run the show, and also finding ways to drive and kick to an open teammate.
