Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

TNG Program

An overall program that had a strong showing through the Phenom Hoops LIVE event, TNG is one that we wanted to shed a bit of light on from what we saw overall at the event. Each team was able to display their talent and gave us a few new names to monitor this summer. So we wanted to shed a bit of light on a few more players and this program overall.

TNG Black 2024

2024 Zay Howard (6’4) – Howard had a solid showing throughout the event, being part of a consistent presence each time he went out on the court. He is one that can do a little bit of everything on the court, found success more around the basket, can be a physical presence, and is a strong finisher around the basket.

2024 Lathan Mitchell (6’4) – Mitchell was another 6’4 prospect that brought a consistent presence to the court. He is one that showed his ability to knock down shots from multiple levels, but really be a strong presence from the outside. He has a confident release and can knock down shots from behind the arc.

2024 Cameron Kirkland (6’1) – Kirkland is a 6’1 big guard that brought a nice balance to the table. He was able to create and make plays off the dribble, get to the basket or the line at times, was able to get paint touches, and attack in transition. Just a strong attacking guard.

And then you had other players like 2023 Malachi Bass, 2024 Chavis Johnson, 2024 Jose Ashley, and others step up as well for TNG Black all throughout the event.

TNG Orange 2025

2025 Bryce Reynierson (6’5) – Reynierson is one that caught the attention of our scouts on multiple occasions.  He is a tough prospect to guard with his size.  He plays at a nice pace, can mix it up really well, can knock down shots from a variety of levels, or can take opponents off the dribble.  His footwork was strong as well inside.

2025 Ousmane Kromah (6’1) – Our scouts had this to say about his game: “A very scrappy player with a high motor. Gets to the rim with force and can rebound. He is very active on defense.”

And then you had other players like 2025 5’11 Michael Youngblood who was able to create and make plays, knock down shots, or find ways to get to the line consistently.  2025 5’10 Martez Ford knocked down shots with range, and 2025 5’8 Tyquayvion Jones, 2025 6’2 Lorenzo Still, and others play valuable roles for their team as well.
