Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

WSCS-Seniors

If you are still a program looking for a few unsigned seniors, there were a few names that impressed throughout the event consistently that we were able to view.  2023 Matej Gasevic filled it up throughout the event and ended it with a bang as he finished the Phenom Hoops LIVE event with a 40-point performance. He is a 6’4 prospect that runs the floor, makes plays out in transition, and can get to his spot well to score the ball effectively.  Then you have 2023 6’4 Mazlum Tolu who really displayed his ability to be a threat from outside, hitting multiple threes each game with a ton of confidence. He consistently brought a threat from three, averaging nearly three 3’s a game. Other players like 2023 6’4 Isaiah McAdams, 2023 6’2 Joshua Lemon, 2023 6’5 Nathan Couhe, and others also stepped up and showcased flashes of their game all throughout the week.

WSCS Lions Honeycutt

The other WSCS Lions team that was on display also has a few intriguing names that you may want to jot down and monitor as well.  2024 6’10 Souleye Diawara is one of those players. There is no doubt about his size, as he has a large frame and great height; he uses it well to his advantage in carving out space in the paint and displaying his activity on the boards as well. Built like a football player, he was consistent throughout the event. 2024 6’3 Nidas Paulauskas was another player that caught my eyes; he was consistent in his scoring capability throughout but that is something he has shown throughout the year as well. He has a smoot, fluid lease, as he can knock down shots off the catch or off the bounce.  He is a smart player that gets to his spots and looks for his shot, but also can make plays for others. He also has nice range to his game. 2025 Ruben Borg was one that really showcased his athleticism on the court, and how effective he can be in getting to the rim and scoring in a variety of ways on the floor for his team.  And you had others like 2024 Elijah Loder-Frame, 2024 Kurubel Gebremichael, and others that also were able to help the team throughout the event.
