2025 Elijah Melton (Sandhills NLPB): We had a great opportunity to watch Melton in action, and he simply dominated en route to a 30+ point game. The 6’5 forward from Pinecrest is coming off a HS season in which he averaged a double-double, and he should only garner more attention this summer. He is a strong, physical prospect that is incredibly active in the paint, finishes at the rim, can step out as well, and really attacks the boards.

2025 Curtis Jackson (Truth Elite): It seems that more people are starting to notice Jackson; he is one that we highlighted last season as “going under the radar” but more eyes are coming his way. Jackson was strong and consistent all throughout, as he is a strong-bodied guard that was able to score in a variety of ways, get downhill and display his athleticism, create and make plays off the dribble, and also can impact the game in a variety of other ways. He had a strong high school season and he should have a strong summer as well.

2025 Will James Jr. (Strong Center): We were all really impressed with James Jr. at the event, as he earned a ton of recognition with his consistent play. Our very own Jeff Bendel wrapped up his game best, saying:

“After previously highlighting a lot of ability over the years, it’s clear that he’s taken a step forward across the last twelve months. James has a strong frame, a well-rounded skill set, and a quality feel for the game on both ends of the floor. He primarily controls the action as the main creator for this group, offering a useful blend of shooting, playmaking, and penetration ability. James defends with nice energy, rebounds the ball well for his position, and knows how to apply constant downhill pressure as a transition threat. He’s a willing passer with an understanding of his teammates’ strengths and how to actively get them clean looks in their preferred spots. James is smart, unselfish, and can make hustle plays as needed.”

2025 Rodmik Allen/ 2025 Zeus Batts (WBC Elite): The WBC Elite duo had a very strong overall weekend, showcasing how tough they can be on both sides of the ball. Batts is a tough, athletic guard that creates well for himself and for others. He also does a nice job in making shots off the bounce, while also making plays as an active defender. Allen is a shifty guard that uses his speed well, gets paint touches consistently, and can make shots from the perimeter. He has an excellent change of pace and direction, has a strong vision, and has handles that help set himself and others up.
