Player: Hayden Assemian
Class: 2025
School: Legacy Early
AAU: CP3 2025

Overall, it was a terrific event at the Phenom Rise Showcase, as the talent and incredible matchups could be found all over the place. It also allowed Phenom Hoops to get an update on a few prospects around the region, seeing what has been going on the latest as far as recruitment.

One player that we were eager to check out was 2025 Hayden Assemian, a player that will be garnering a lot of attention this summer and down the road. One of the toughest and strongest players in the class of 2025, Assemian continues to prove how dominant he can be and his potential.

SC Top 80 Evaluation:

“He’s a big, strong post prospect with excellent length, skill and an overwhelming level of physicality on both ends of the floor. Assemian is a great athlete and overall finisher who possesses an array of impressive fundamentals from the block. His hands, feel, footwork, and craftiness around the basket make him extremely difficult for opponents to contain. Assemian finishes with both hands, above and below the rim, and displays an arsenal of post moves and counters. He also controls the glass and blocks a ton of shots defensively. Coach Breazeale on Assemian: “Hayden was the overall best player. Dominant inside and displays the ability to hit the three-pointer. Rebounds and uses his body really well. Can work on his handles next.” Assemian was basically unstoppable at camp, securing the co-MVP award, and should be collect a ton of offers over the coming years.”

With what he has shown, it is easy to see why a few schools are making him a priority early on but that list should only continue to grow. Right now, Assemian holds offers from Wake Forest and Western Carolina, but when speaking to him, the SC prospect mentioned schools like South Carolina, Clemson, UNLV, Houston, Charleston, Boston College, Temple, and USC Upstate (along with others) have been expressing interest his way.

And when asked if there was a school of interest he may be looking to visit, Assemian would love to check out Houston more as the program grabbed his attention early on.
