Player: Gracynn Gough
Class: 2024
School: Charlotte Catholic

At the Phenom New Year’s Bash, we got a chance to see some strong talent on the girls’ side with Charlotte Catholic, a program that certainly has the pedigree in making a state title run.  2024 Blanca Thomas certainly grabs the headlines, but once again, it was the play of 2024 Gracynn Gough who was the talk of the game with her production.

This isn’t the first time we have talked about Gough, as we spoke to her back in December of 2021 about her game, her focus, and receiving her first offer

Article: 2024 Gracynn Gough talks first offer; Charlotte Catholic’s focus this season

Fast forward to today, our team was incredibly impressed with Gough production once again and she is continuing to show why she is a college-level player that college coaches should really be looking at.  Though she holds a few offers already, that list should only continue to grow.  Check out what was said after her 26-point, 15-rebound performance in Charlotte.

“Dominant performance from Gracynn Gough to lead Charlotte Catholic to the commanding win. Showcased her ability to score from multiple levels. Finished strong in the paint. But also shot the ball at a high level from behind the arc, knocking down 4 3s.”

“2024 Gracynn Gough @CatholicWBB continues to be a favorite of mine to watch. Such a tough forward that battles down low, finishes well around the basket, and now stretching the court.”

“6’0 ’24 Gracynn Gough (Charlotte Catholic) is absolutely dominating. Just capped off one of the most impressive and productive halves you’ll see in high school. She possesses sharp vision, the ability to score from anywhere, and an incredibly high IQ #PhenomNewYearsBash”

And her performance is only a continuation of what she has been showing all season long, averaging 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game this season. When you sit down to watch her game, you can’t deny her production and how she impacts the game, which is why it would be surprising if more schools don’t join in her recruitment.
