2025 Kaden Hammond (The Burlington School): A new piece to the program, Hammond has quickly come in for this team and made himself a presence with his frame and ability to carve out space in the paint. The 6’8 prospect did a great job in battling down in the paint, attacking the boards, and being strong in carving space and showing touch around the basket. Another stat that has to grab your attention was the five blocks that he also had.

2026 Dane Cassada (Calvary Day): The freshman led the charge and you have to like this young man’s feel as a young prospect.  He has a terrific IQ and feel for the game at his age; he isn’t afraid of being in the spotlight and elevates his play on the bigger stage. He does a nice job in balancing and reading the defense, scoring and using his size well and being efficient as a scorer, but also facilitating to his teammates.  Got a feeling you are going to be hearing about this young man more and more in North Carolina.

2025 Jerron Blackwell (Page): Blackwell was big in his team’s win on Day 2, filling it up, being physical, not settling and attacking the defense. He continues to use his strong frame and ability to get downhill, embrace contact, and finish through defenders, as he finished with 23 points but also was strong on the boards as well. This is a sophomore prospect that is strong in two sports, and absolutely competes on both sides of the court.

2024 Benjamin Brown (Wesleyan): Brown was consistent throughout the game and kept his team right there, especially with his perimeter shooting. He did a great job in playing off the ball and finding the open spot, and knocking down multiple threes in catch-and-shoot situations. He helped his team in a big way with 14 points on Day 2.

2023 Bryce Cash (Carmel Christian): Cash showed why he should be all over the radars for college coaches; he was an absolute menace defensively helping create turnovers and making it tough for his opponents. But he was also effective offensively, using his college frame to be assertive, attack in transition, and flourish with his ability to attack downhill and take contact. Elite defender though in what he provides.

2024 Drake Powell (Northwood): What Powell does on the court just has to impress you and I got a feeling this could be a special season for the UNC commit. Powell checks off so many boxes with his game, whether t was his ability to attack and get to the line, display his jumper, show more of his versatility and decision-making/passing, or his willingness to make the defensive play. It is easy to see why he is one of the top players for his class.

2024 Jaylon Bumpass (Grimsley): The junior guard really opened some eyes with his bounce and ability to make plays. He did an excellent job in creating off-the-bounce and mixing it up, whether it was getting to the basket or knocking down mid-range shots. He really put the pressure on the defense, and was able to get to the line at times and step up his game when his team needed him to.

2024 Jucqarie Love (Southern Guilford): Love is one that we have mentioned a couple of times before and do believe he is an underrated talent to keep an eye out for. Love has a long frame and has terrific bounce to his game. He simply can elevate over other players on the boards and at the rim, but also shows that he can be a strong offensive threat from a variety of levels. His athleticism really thrives on the court on both ends and he is a high-flyer.
