By now you have heard of Wendell Moore, he has been to Team USA tryouts, ranked in the Nation’s Top 10, and picked up multiple Power 5 offers. And all of this was before his sophomore year of high school.

Moore carries offers from the likes of Syracuse, Virginia Tech, UNC, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Georgia, NC State, and others. He just came back from Colorado as he was a standout during the Team USA Junior National Camp. He is consistently ranked in the Top 50 by every national outlet, across the country.

However, Moore has gotten better. Coming into his sophomore year, Moore’s game has risen to a completely new level. Big and skilled, Moore now takes it upon himself to be the most aggressive player on the floor. He attacks the rim with strength and explosion. He defends the wing with great anticipation and good footwork. Moore’s game (both size and skill) has always been advanced among his peers, now watch out!

After a recent stop in to watch Moore in an Open Gym we wrote, “He relished the role of team leader and was much more assertive on the court. Wendell was making one play after another. While he has always enjoyed the role of being the team facilitator, he was also creating his own shot off the dribble and this alone could spell trouble for opposing teams.”

He’s been a staple at NC Phenom events since he was in the 7th grade, almost as long as he has been a staple on the tongues of the national recruiting analysts. Now Moore is really coming into his own. This will be fun to watch!
