Nesmith won a state championship as a sophomore. He was 1st Team All State as a sophomore. He won conference player of the year after averaging 18.5 points after shooting 45% from 3. However, somehow he is still under the radar.

To make things even more bizarre, let’s look at Nesmith’s natural tools. During the measurement section at the prestigious South Carolina Top 80, Nesmith shined. He measured at 6’6” with a 7’2” wing span and a 32.5” standing vertical leap. So Nesmith has incredible on court production, Nesmith is a winner, and Nesmith has incredible natural athletic numbers – what are we missing here'

As with most of the elite players in the state of South Carolina, Nesmith is a 2-time alum of the South Carolina Top 80. After his most recent performance we wrote, Nesmith was one of the best players in the camp, voted defensive MVP. He displayed the full arsenal offensively, with explosion and deep consistent range. Nesmith’s camp coach Pete Ellis stated, “Aaron was excellent to coach, such a polished player. No question he will have a wonderful career.” Nesmith experienced a boost in after his showing at Phenom’s Summer Havoc, expect a big boost after this event too.”

Over the Summer Nesmith was workout partners with Khris Middleton, as they attend the same high school. After the workouts with the Milwaukee Bucks star, he would spend his day in pick-up games with all of the Charleston area players who were back home from their overseas professional contracts.

Currently the incredibly high academic Nesmith has offers from College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, Wofford, Furman, Charleston Southern, and Mercer. However, he is tracking at a high major level. Both Clemson and South Carolina are spending a lot of time in his gym. Amazingly enough, there is more upside to come.

Check out the latest video we sent out from the South Carolina Top 80, his film breakdown is impressive. Also make sure to catch him in Phenom’s National Showcase against Greenfield School, it’ll be a breakout!
