Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Reggie Bass
Class: 2022
Committed to: Central Michigan

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

“If one could have a tournament MVP, Bass would have been one of the leaders for this category.  Bass was simply sensational all throughout the event. Hitting big shots, being an absolute scoring threat all over the court, and showcasing terrific handles in how to create space and opportunities for himself… he showed it all and with his size at 6’5, there weren’t many that could even slow him down. Posting multiple 20+ performances, he helped lead Team Teague to an undefeated weekend.  With the ball in his hands, Bass shows a tremendous feel for the game, whether it is scoring the ball on all levels or finding teammates on the floor.  One thing can be said, Illinois has a good one coming their way.”

“Already a high-major commit, you can easily see why he was a target for so many. But Illinois was the one for him and now the 6’5 guard brings the ability to create for others, as he has that ball on a string, but also is wired to score the ball on all levels.  It is simply tough for guards to slow down his game at his size.”

“The 2022 6’5 prospect is an incredibly talented combo guard with size, showing he can score from all levels, has tremendous awareness in how to create for himself, is quick with the ball in his hands, and understand how to find his teammates in the right position. It was easy to see why he was a target by so many.”
