Phenom Hoops is shedding light on players around the state of North Carolina on the girl’s side. Our very own, Delaney Rudd talks about players (with more coming) that you will want to jot down and watch for the rest of the summer and upcoming high school season.
Kierstin Johnson (Wilkes Hoop Group) 2024
Kierstin is a 6’2 stretch four to watch for the class of 2024. She’s extremely vocal and aggressive defensively. She pulled down 14 rebounds and had 10 blocks in a win for Wilkes Hoop Group.
Jianna Holmes (Wilkes Hoop Group) 2024
As a 5’8 PG Jianna Holmes is definitely a player to watch for the class of 2024. Her scoring ability and high IQ allow her to pick apart any defense. She averaged an impressive 27 ppg including 41 points in the semifinals of her last very competitive showcase.
Jada Creech (Phoenix Elite) 2023
Jada a 6′ post presents a very strong post-game for the Phoenix. Can also handle the ball in the open court. Great IQ for the game. Very vocal on the court. Was game MVP 2 of 3 games in the Phenom Lady Rumble showcase. Just picked up an offer from Virginia Union.
Katlin Adams (Waves) 2023
Katlin is a super athlete at 5’9, who can play all 5 positions on the court. Plays the point primarily for her team. Can score in bunches, while also defending some of the top players on the opposing team. Look for a breakout summer from Katlin.
