2022 Ahmari Samuel (Next Level SC): Samuel came out strong to start the event and left an impression on us. The 6’3 guard scored the ball extremely well, going for 29 and 30 in back-to-back games, showing his feel, his patience, and his ability to score in an array of ways.

2022 Marcus Wills (Mint Hill Lakers): The speedy point guard leaves it out on the court. Whether you want a strong ballhandler, a strong defender, a fast guard that can create and get downhill, or a player that has a terrific motor, Willis does a little bit of everything and has shown that consistently over the years.

2022 Sam Cogan (Team Denver): Cogan had a very strong showing for his team and the unsigned senior continued to show that he can produce.  With his 6’3 frame, his strength as a guard, his perimeter feel, his IQ, and his ability to be a focal point but also play within the offense, Cogan showed that he can help a program at the next level.

2022 Dwight Canady Jr. (NLPB 2022): Canady had strong performance after strong performance, really being the go-to guy for much of the event. The combo guard did a little bit of everything, as he was able to embrace contact and get into the paint but also score from outside.  He has a nice balance though to his game overall, whether it is scoring or getting others involved; he just does what is needed for his team.

2022 Jemez Herd (Team PUSH NC): Herd was an unsigned senior that many college coaches had on their radar, and he had a terrific showing throughout, even ending the day with a big 30-point performance. Herd’s size and versatility really stood out but showed that he can be a big-time athlete on the court, finish at the rim, and really take advantage of his matchup with his skill set.

2022 Will Rhodes (NC Spartans): Overall, the NC Spartans Unsigned Seniors team has a few guys that could be on the radar of college programs but Rhodes really stood out once again with his ability to fill it up.  The 6’0 guard knows how to find his shot, knocking down threes, scoring off the bounce, and using his body well to finish. He has put back-to-back strong showings with Phenom Hoops and he should only continue this spring/summer.
