Over a week ago, we got our first look at CP3 2024 and allowed our readers to get an early insight into what the team had this season. This past weekend, we got our first look at the Garner Road 3SSB program on multiple levels. One team we were certainly intrigued by seeing was the Garner Road 3SSB 2024 team, as they matched up against CP3 2024 for a big-time showdown. It was a terrific showing, but the weekend gave us a glimpse into what the team was bringing to the table this season, so let’s dive into what we saw.
Leading the charge is one of the top players in the state and in the country in 2024 Paul McNeil, as the 6’6 prospect continues to show his ability to fill it up, knock down shots, and be a tough outing every time he touches the floor. Alongside him though are some incredible talents like 2024 Isaiah Washington, who brings a smooth game, tremendous body control, and terrific size to the court. It also brings in the show of 2024 Rakease Passmore, who is one of the best athletes in the state but also showed his continuing development with his ability to create for himself and be a threat from outside.
Those three alone should have the attention of college coaches all around the country, as they are regarded as some of the top prospects in the state of North Carolina. But the talent doesn’t stop there… Watch out for 2024 Jucqarie Love and 2024 Jamias Ferere, two players that have been on the floor together plenty of times and bring size, athleticism, and playmaking to the court.
Guards 2024 Jahon Foster and 2024 Javion Drake are two pesky players that compete on both sides of the court, but also can make plays and knock down shots from outside.
Garner will also be having 2024 Wyatt DeGraff, 2024 Kaleb Santos, and 2024 Greg Ehlinger to bring a little size to the table for their team this year. There is certainly plenty of talent to go around with this team and it was great to get an early viewing of them at the Spring Tip-Off, as they will be must-see TV all throughout the summer.
