Standouts:

2022 Dug McDaniel (Paul VI): The Michigan commit point guard was tremendous in this outing, showcasing his ability to be a playmaker with the ball in his hands. His ball-handling is elite to go along with his change of direction and pace on the court.  There wasn’t an opponent that could stay in front of him, excelling in the open floor, getting opponents on his side, and getting to the rack. Impressive showing by the senior.

2023 Deshawn Harris-Smith (Paul VI): Harris-Smith is one we have watched a few times and it continues to surprise us a little that he isn’t ranked higher in national rankings. The 6’5 junior is a strong, physical playmaker, gets downhill, and embraces contact when getting to the basket. The young man is an absolute competitor on the court and seems to always be in attack mode.

2025 Jaquan Womack (Paul VI): Only a freshman, Womack is going to be a name many will get familiar with soon. The young forward has a nice blend in his game with how versatile he can be, his comfort outside, his inside presence offensively and on the boards, his touch, and his overall activity on both ends.

2023 Buom Jock (Episcopal): Learning more about the junior’s game, we also learned that he is a pretty good dual-sport athlete on the football field, holding multiple offers already.  But he also produces on the basketball court, using that same athleticism and verticality in his ability to finish at the basket and rise up over defenders with his jumper.

2022 David Onanina (Bishop O’Connell): You can’t help but see Onanina on the court with his physical stature and he used it to his advantage, physically manhandling opponents in the paint, getting on the boards, and finishing well around the basket with touch. He is a hard man to move and there are a few college programs that could use a forward with his strength.

2023 Connor Dubsky (St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes): Dubsky is a 6’4 shooting guard that elevates well and displays a fluid shooting motion.  Good athleticism to his game, good mechanics in his shot, and can score in a variety of ways and from a variety of levels.

2022 Paul Lewis (Bishop O’Connell): The senior guard stepped up in a big way for his team, as he was able to dissect the defense well, get to his spots, knock down shots off the dribble well, but also get to the basket to score. Really showed his leadership, his competitiveness, and his ability to make plays.

2022 Devin Ceasar (St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes): The Buffalo commit really gave everyone a glimpse of his speed in the open floor and his ability to get downhill.  That is when he was at his best, getting defenders on his hip and getting by defenders.  But the scoring guard also showed that he can hurt you from the outside with his jump shot.
