Player: Kent King
Class: 2022
Height: 6’5
Position: PG
School: Fork Union

King has been an intriguing prospect on the court with his size and position. King, who comes from Washington DC, is the leading scorer for Fork Union this season, as well as the leading assist man. He brings a nice balance of play-making ability, is a big-time athlete, and has a high-level skill set that he brings to the court. King has a natural ability in creating for himself and attacking inside the arc, finding ways to score, knocking down shots, and finishing strong. He also is a vocal leader, a great decision-maker, is a competitor on the court, and uses his 6’5 frame to his advantage. Right now, he is receiving interest from schools in the AAC, ASUN, A-10, Conference USA, CAA, MAAC, and SoCon.

Our very own, Colby Lewis, recently watched him and had this to say:

“Kent King was a strong, physical guard who led the way for Fork Union with his ability to put the ball in the basket. At 6’5, he utilizes his frame to create off the bounce, get downhill and finish at the rim through contact. It also stood out how willing of a passer he was. There were several times when he got into the paint and was able to find teammates spotting up. In addition, he also showed the ability to knock down the perimeter shot. He led Fork Union in scoring with 17 points to go along with 6 rebounds.”
