Day 2 got underway in Charlotte for the Phenom November Classic, as Charlotte Country Day and Lincoln Charter battled it out on the girls’ side of things.  Charlotte Country Day came out strong and built a double-digit lead early and eventually led 16-2 at the end of the first quarter. Lincoln started to find a little more success in the second quarter behind Lusk and Rinaldo but Charlotte Country Day’s balanced attack and defensive mentality really captured the game early to build a comfortable lead by halftime, 28-12.

Mary Holland Waters and Hudson Rixham continued to play very effectively on the court for Charlotte Country Day, scoring inside and out as well as helping out on defense, helping CCDS continue to build onto their lead by the end of the third quarter, 49-24. Lincoln Charter never game up and outscored CCDS in the fourth quarter 17-13 but in the end, it was all Charlotte Country Day that took home the 62-41 victory to start the day.
