It is always fun to learn about new players around the region and 2024 6’1 Jahleel Jackson is one that many more might want to start taking notice of.  He captured some eyes recently at the Phenom 757 Showcase and seems to be on the right track with college coaches, securing some early offers his way.

When breaking down his game more, Jackson’s AAU coach Renard Phillips would have to say this to describe his game on the court.

“Jahleel serves as a primary deep threat on an AAU team loaded with D1 talent. His physicality on both ends of the floor gives us advantages in a lot of situations. He also has the ability to stretch the floor which creates spacing and allows easier driving lanes.”

Jackson has shown on numerous occasions this summer that he is elevating his game, showing to be a primary scorer on multiple levels of the floor.  Recently this summer, Jackson showed his ability to fill up the stat sheet, scoring 22 points vs. Team Wall at the Phenom 757 Showcase.  He also scored 15 points vs. Bishop Ireton at the DMV Live Period and 24 points vs. Maret School at the Capitol Hoops Summer League (both of which happened in the last month).

Right now, Jackson was able to knab offers from NJIT and UMASS-Lowell already, while several other D1 schools are expressing interest his way early on.  But Jackson has shown that he is going to be a name you will want to remember and is quickly taking the area by storm.
