2022 AJ Cook (CC Elite):
Now playing this weekend with CC Elite Jacob-Fisher, it certainly gave an opportunity for Cook to shine even more with his shooting ability and that he did on Day 2, eventually going for 32 big points to lead his team to a win. Cook doesn’t need much room to get his shot and makes quick, decisive decisions in his game. Cook though can be a game-changer for a team and can get hot QUICK, especially from three but knocked down shots from multiple levels.
2021 Malik Moye (North Florida Elite):
Moye is a new name for myself and has been impressed with what I’ve seen with his game. He excels in transition, especially with his quickness and speed in the open floor. He is also a quick, shifty guard that changes directions well to get defenders off-balance. He showed that he can get to the basket and make plays for himself, but also find his teammates for easy baskets. Works well in getting downhill on the floor.
2024 Dellquan Warren (Wildcat Select):
A young point guard for Wildcat Select but should be one college coaches will want to monitor. Warren has a tremendous and confident feel to his game, playing with great pace, under control, and picks his spots well. His blend of athleticism, skill, creativity, and balance of attacking or court awareness is highly intriguing and should have college coaches coming his way.
2022 Aaron Murphy (Garner Road):
You simply just have to like how Murphy operates and what he provides to a team. Yes, he is a strong-bodied prospect that uses his frame well to his advantage as he does an excellent job of battling inside the arc and around the paint for his position. But he also makes smart plays and continues to show that he can be a threat from outside as well. Always active, always on the board, and always working… Murphy brings a lot to the table.
2022 Nate Brafford (Team Swish):
Brafford made it look easy early on Day 1 and more coaches are starting to catch on that we are talking about a 6’8, fluid scoring guard that is wired to put the ball in the hole. And that is what he did… with ease at times. Such a smooth prospect that understands where to attack and that he can score from anywhere on the floor. It is why many schools were sitting baseline to watch him in action this weekend.
2023 Trey Parker (Big Shots):
Parker is such a gifted guard and really is showing more of his overall feel for the game. Yes, he is explosive and his bounce is what immediately can grab your attention. But he continues to show that he can be a scorer from all levels, as well as make plays for his teammates. On several occasions, Parker attracts and gets the defense to collapse, as he then makes terrific passes to find his teammates for open shots. He has been quite a hot topic here over the last few weekends.
