The Queen City Showcase in Rock Hill this weekend is going to be off the charts. With talent all on the floor, livestreams streaming the games, and a ton of coverage from Phenom Hoops, this is going to be one of the best events to start the travel ball season.

That is why we wanted to get a leg up on it, as we spoke to several coaches that will be bringing their teams to South Carolina this weekend.  Below, we look at a few players that you may want to check out on the court, whether you are a college coach, a scout, or a fan.

Team: Carolina Defenders Elite

Deyton Albury – 2021/ 6’3
Coach’s Thoughts: Played FIBA 17u won a national championship with Believe Prep and was awarded the MVP. Really improved shooter and a great two way player.

DeLaync Shuler – 2021/ 6’1
Coach’s Thoughts: avg 30ppg this season for Anson HS on 60% from the field. Tremendous two way player that can shoot it or get down hill. True 3 level scorer and playmaker.

Austin Medlin – 2021/ 6’3
Coach’s Thoughts: one of the best shooters in NC. Charlotte player of the week 3x, conference player of the year. 22ppg

Terrence Johnson – 2021/ 6’8
Coach’s Thoughts: Signed MVSU. Working on rounding out his game and prepping him for college

Dyson Bell – 2022/ 6’5
Coach’s Thoughts: Conference player of the year. 16ppg 6 blocks 7reb. Great shot blocker and 2 way player. Improved jumper becoming a true 3 level scorer.

Trevor Kelly – 2022/ 6’4
Coach’s Thoughts: Big Body guard that is a sniper. 16ppg has hit 10 3
