Player: Julian Williams
School: Northwood Temple
Position: Forward
Class: 2021

What he did at Phenom MLK Showcase:

Williams had a very productive day, playing in two games and lead the charge in both.  In Game 1 against Calvary Day, he scored an efficient 31 points in a dominating 99-67 victory.  He then backed that up against Franklin Prep, scoring 16 points in the 20+ point win.  It just continues a very impressive senior campaign in which he has been averaging nearly 17 points and eight rebounds a game.

Taking a look at his game:

Williams continues to be a productive prospect on the court.  From when we first saw him this fall and now into the season, he continues to prove that he can be a matchup nightmare and he can consistently get it done.  With his activity around the rim, showing his explosiveness to finish strong or facing up and attacking the defense, Williams just has a good understanding of how he can impact the game. He plays bigger than listed, using his length and wingspan, is strong on the boards, runs the floor well, and understands spacing.  Defensively, he is able to body and defend multiple positions as well.
