The final game for day five of Phenom’s Holiday Classic took place between two quality prep programs in Franklin Prep and Bull City Prep. After mounting a 10-2 run, Bull City Prep maintained their offensive pressure and ended the first period with a 20-10 advantage. Although both squads continued battling, Bull City Prep maintained their 43-22 lead entering halftime. Following the break, Bull City Prep continued to keep their foot on the gas, finishing the third quarter with a 72-37 lead and ultimately claiming an 87-61 victory over Franklin Prep.

Bull City Prep:

6’3 ’21 Shawn Wilson

Despite being the newest addition to this team, Wilson already appears quite comfortable at asserting himself within the flow of the action on both ends of the floor. He’s a big, strong, sturdy guard prospect with a nice blend of passing and all-around scoring. Wilson can actively mix up his offensive approach while defending either guard position and rebounding well for his size. He’s somewhat underrated in the bigger scheme of things and should have more action within his recruitment.

6’9 ’21 Luc Therrien

It seems like Therrien seems to get better and more comfortable with Bull City Prep across each new viewing. He plays a strong, tough brand of basketball inside the paint, operating within himself and the team concept at all times. Therrien is a great rebounder, alters shots at a consistent basis, and runs the floor hard in transition. He displays touch over either should and can reliably step out to knock down perimeter jumpers.

6’6 ’21 Bryce Harris

There’s so much to like with Harris, who is somewhat of a natural glue-guy with this group. He’s so productive and able to make an impact in all facets of the game, largely due to his nonstop motor and overall nose for the ball. Harris can assume ball-handling duties as needed and asserts himself well as an all-around scorer. He’s smart, athletic, and understands how to make the right play while defending multiple positions. Harris showcased a ton of offensive fluidity throughout this contest and should have a variety of opportunities at the next level.

Franklin Prep:

6’5 ’21 Devante Patterson

It should come as no surprise, but Patterson continues to shine as a leader and all-around scoring option for this group. He can create his own shot or operate without the ball, able to find success in either area with relative ease. Patterson is a quality athlete with craftiness and toughness as a finisher around the basket.
