Last game of the day here on Sunday afternoon in the Arena, A Good Dude who has a ton of talent, matched up with Team ELI. It looked to be a fun game to watch and that it was. A Good Dude came out strong once again, pushing their offense, getting out in transition, and knocking some shots down in the open floor. It was another balanced attack but Team ELI was able to stay within striking distance and eventually got within 10 points in the third quarter before expanding it back to 18. There was just too much for the A Good Dude, as they took control and won 77-52.
Stats:
A Good Dude:
Ja’Kwon Moore 21 points
Noah Ross 20 points
Tre Barker 18 points
Team ELI:
Ak Holden 12 points
TJ Ragland 8 points
Jarrod Small 8 points
Standouts:
2022 Tre Barker (A Good Dude): Like what this young man was able to provide, as he ran the floor well, got to his spots, played his game with his outside jumper but also got after it and played hard on both ends of the floor. Barker gets to his spots well and helps spread the floor well.
2023 Ja’kwon Moore (A Good Dude): He had a stellar first game and did it again in the second game, this time giving us a preview of his continuing improvement in how outside shot. One can see the confidence he has with his outside game, really filling out as a player on the floor.
2022 TJ Ragland (Team ELI): Ragland played well early on, make his impact on the floor in multiple ways. Sharing the ball, rebounding, and scoring the ball inside the arc. Had a solid game for his team.
2021 Omahj Evans (Team ELI): Scored the ball well, showing his range with a three and being assertive, but also doing a tremendous job in getting on the boards, securing seven rebounds for his team.
