2022 Evan Smith (Ardrey Kell): Smith had a very good camp and really think this is a player that could see an uptick in his recruitment and game this season.  He was shifty in the open floor and was showing how he can be assertive on the court.

2022 Noah Ross (Trinity Academy): Ross is going to be a player that coaches will love and really seems to be taking his game to the next level.  Not only just a smooth shooter from multiple areas but he continues to use his 6’8 size to his advantage.  His confidence level just keeps on rising each time we see him, which is why more programs are and should be coming his way.

2023 Isaiah Washington (Pine Forest): Washington had a tremendous freshman campaign and is quickly earning more traction with his game in a loaded 2023 class.  He already has tremendous size at an early age and really showed that he can compete against the best.  Washington scores in several ways, as he can make it look effortless attacking the rim or pulling up with his mid-range shot.  Thinking that this young man will only continue to rise up the rankings and put on more special performances down the road.

2022 Sam Perez (Trinity Academy): Perez is going to be an interesting prospect to watch this year. Now in the 2022 class, Perez will continue to gain eyes on his game, versatility, and ability to impact the game in multiple areas.  At 6’7, Perez has a natural feel from the perimeter but also get it done down low; he creates a difficult matchup.  He did a terrific job putting the ball on the deck and attacking, finishing at the rim, and showing off a smooth shooting stroke from outside.

2022 Christ Essandoko (Winston Salem Christian): We have been waiting to watch Essandoko and he didn’t disappoint. The big man that recently came to North Carolina showed such a skilled feel but one that can carve out in the paint. He has really good hands, a nice touch, and good footwork (something you don’t always see with a 6’11 big). We can say it now… this young man is going to be a big-time target for college coaches (and already is for many).
