6’9 ’21 Bretner Mutombo (Georgia Allstars)

The Georgia Allstars roster is certainly loaded with talent, and one could argue that Mutombo is their most enticing long-term prospect. He’s long, athletic, and alters a ton of shots around the basket, which allows him to shine as an exceptional defender. However, Mutombo also showcased a quality amount of skill and fluidity on the other end. He’s a constant threat for putbacks and second-chance points, and can effectively space the floor or attack within a few dribbles.

6’7 ’21 Kanayo Nwosu (Juice All-Stars)

The entire Juice All-Stars squad should be recruited, and Nwosu (both brothers) should be priorities for various programs. He plays with an extremely high motor and has the corresponding frame to really cause problems for opponents. Nwosu is also a ridiculous athlete with toughness and the ability to absorb contact around the basket.

6’0 ’21 Brock Bowen (CC Elite)

There are a lot of high-level shooters in attendance, but Bowen should be regarded with the best of them. He has a quick release, great off-ball movement, and only requires a glimmer of daylight to get off clean looks. Bowen is capable of operating within a few dribbles but understands how to embrace his identity and doesn’t force the action. His low-maintenance role allows him to make an impact without even requiring the ball.

5’10 ’21 Aaron Potter (Carolina Rising Stars)

The Carolina Rising Stars have been very effective, regardless of roster composition, and Potter has arguably been their best guy over the summer season. He’s somewhat unassuming at first glance but has the skillset to effortlessly dictate the action as an offensive focal point. Potter offers a phenomenal balance between scoring and playmaking. He utilizes his body extremely well, displays an incredible feel for the game, and simply knows how to lead a team.

6’3 ’21 Kley McGowan (Tennessee Tigers)

Perhaps no player on display was more impressive than McGowan, who might’ve also doubled as the most unassuming. In terms of intangibles, he’s purely in a league of his own. McGowan is a game-changing presence without needing to score the ball due to his elite motor, defensive prowess, and understanding of the game. It’s easy to see what has led to Division I programs’ involvement.

6’8 ’21 Tyrek Priestly (Upward Stars)

There are a lot of intriguing prospects within the Upward Stars organization, but few more enticing than Priestly. For starters, he’s added a lot of strength over the last year and now overwhelms opponents with his interior presence. Priestly is a quality defender and rebounder with solid touch, motor, and toughness.

6’0 ’22 DJ Cuttino (Mint Hill Lakers)

While there’s always a variety of standouts for the Mint Hill Lakers, Cuttino is a guy who probably doesn’t get enough credit for his smooth, steady game. He’s smart, playing up, and continues to show a high level of comfortability when running a team. Cuttino is a reliable shooter, playmaker, and defender that only seems to make a positive impact on the court.

6’0 ’21 Levar Strange (Greensboro Warriors)

There were numerous noteworthy contributors for the Greensboro Warriors during their hard-fought win victory to finish the night, and it’s impossible to ignore Stange’s leadership and overall impact. The tough, strong-bodied guard scored in multiple ways while showing a willingness to pass to the open man. He was as vital as anyone to this victory.
