7’0 Patrick Wessler of CC Elite 2022-2021 17U continues to be a handful in the paint. Tenacious rebounder on both sides of the ball. Good rim protector that can block shots. Very skilled on the offensive end; showed the ability to play with his back to the basket and face up. Can really shoot the ball with range.
6’4 Kheni Briggs of Tea Marie 16U absolutely eats in the paint, makes a living around the rim. Great rebounder for his size, especially on the offensive end. Very physical and strong player who bullies his way to the basket. Can push the ball in transition and finishes through contact.
6’2 Jax Bouknight of Atlanta Timberwolves plays really hard and is the ultimate glue guy for his team. Is a jack of all trades, plays defense, rebounds, and scores. Finished the game with 20 points. Attacks the rim hard and can finish consistently. Very efficient player that the team used to play multiple positions. Has been very efficient for them this weekend. Always in the right spot at the right time.
6’0 Cedric Patterson of Mint Hill Lakers 17U really scores the ball to be his size. Got into the lane and created for himself and his team. Controls the pace of the game and changes speed very well. Crafty finisher at the rim. Also showed that he could shoot the ball as well, showing that he could knock down open shots. Plays solid defense, keeps players in front of him, and has quick hands.
5’9 Kadyn Dawkins of Cobras 2021 is a small guard who really controls the pace of the game and is very hard to defend, changes speed very well. Gets to the lane with ease and is a great finisher for his size. Can shoot the ball well off the catch and off the dribble. With his speed and quickness, he is a terror in transition. Really pressures the ball defensively and has quick hands.
