Rock Hill will be loaded with talent and Phenom Hoops wants to not only get everyone ready for an exciting event but also make sure we provide exposure for teams and players all throughout. We start previewing teams and players that coaches and fans will want to check out at the event.

BMAZE 2022 (Twitter)

Jakobi Gillespie (2022, 6’1, Greeneville HS)

A player that has the athletic background and genes in his family, Gillespie is a legitimate scoring threat for this team and he has been working hard this offseason to prepare himself. He was named to the 1st team All-Conference and also earned MVP honors of District 2-AA.  One can see why with his ability to create and knock down shots on multiple levels. Check out his highlight film here (Link).  He has also been receiving a lot of interest lately from schools and his most recent one has been from Lipscomb.

Micah Simpson (2022, 6’0, Morristown East)

Simpson is another prospect receiving a ton of interest from schools, including his latest interests from ETSU, Liberty, and Lipscomb. He is a scorer that can fill up the stat sheet, which he showed this past season at Morristown East, where he averaged nearly 25 points per game and was named 1st team All-District. He has a chance to be a big name in Rock Hill.

Terrence Dorsey (2022, 6’2, Maryville High)

Dorsey earned some tremendous experience this past season as sophomore, playing in 24 games and averaging 7.2 points, 3.7 rbeounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. He showed that he can be a threat inside and out, and really be a do-it-all type prospect.

Lane Harrison (2022, 6’6, Clinton High)

A prospect that moves well and runs the floor, using his long frame to his advantage on both ends. Plays with a nice feel for the game and can finish at the rim but also spot up for his shot. Hudl Highlights

Isaiah Smith (2022, 6’0, Farragut)

Smith gets to his spots and moves well without the ball, showing that on multiple occasions in his highlight film. He can really stretch a defense with his range as well. Hudl Highlights

Jamih Springer (2023, 6’8, East Meck)

The younger brother of Jaden Springer, Jamih is a big center that mans the floor but is still developing his overall game. He has big hands and can battle on the boards, while also showing off touch around the rim. It is just the start for him but certainly one that has intrigue the more he develops.

Other Players to Keep an Eye on:

Jackson Garner (2022, 5’11, Clinton High)
Jayden Housewright (2022, 6’6, CAK)
Connor Martin (2022, 6’5, Anderson County)
