Continuing to look at the new names that will be coming to the HoopState of North Carolina, we check out a big man that will be looking to make his mark at Moravian Prep.  2022 6’10 Corneilous Williams comes from a town call Beaumont in Mississippi and is a young big that can play multiple positions.

He can play the 3, the 4, or the 5 at Moravian, and he also mentioned that he prides himself as a defender and strong finisher around the rim, which certainly helped him when he averaged 15 points and 16 rebounds last season.

“My strengths are shooting mid-range and finishing around the rim,” he told Phenom Hoops.  “I’m looking to focus on dribbling and pulling up off the dribble.”

Moravian Prep was an intriguing opportunity that he couldn’t turn down, as he wants to play for one of the top schools in the nation and is hoping to get a lot of exposure from his recent decision.  Williams hopes that he can show everyone that he deserves to be one of the top players in the state and can be a dominant all-around force.

Williams already has attracted a few offers from JUCO programs but has also been receiving interest from Murray State, Western Kentucky, Boston, Southern Louisiana, Baylor, Southern Miss, and Tulane.
