The light switched on for McCadden and it did so right before this year’s (2017) North Carolina Top 80 exposure camp. McCadden used that platform to start coming at people’s heads.

During this last stop on the EYBL (Indianapolis), McCadden averaged 13 minutes per game. Not surprising his usage was up from the previous session, when examining his game it’s obvious he is a hard player to take off the floor. He thrives with the little things, the things that make a team win.

With the rise of his usage rate, so went up his statistical contributions. He averaged 5 points per game, shooting 50% (8-16) from the field and 40% (2-5) from beyond the arc. He also averaged 2.3 boards and 1.5 steals per game, from his off guard spot.

After his performance at the prestigious North Carolina Top 80 we wrote, “McCadden is a player who does all the little things on the floor to win. He defends the ball and the wing, he rebounds and he passes very well. In this setting he showed the ability to attack the rim and finish in traffic. His Wake Forest offer is looking more and more like the norm to come.”

It’s hard not to notice McCadden’s ability as a team mate. He has a high basketball IQ and really sees the floor well. He also has a great handle and plays with a great pace. Rebounding, defending, all the tough guy stuff, McCadden loves it. Now, McCadden will look to dunk it on your head – his game has gone to an entirely new level.

Furthering this sentiment, after his performance at the 2016 Joe Miller Invitational we wrote, “This guard is productive every time we see him and did it again on Day 2. The 6’5 guard has a superb wingspan that allows him to really attack the rim and finish over opponents, while also going up for boards. This young man holds a few Division I offers already but more programs should be looking at him. On Day 2, he did much of his damage attacking the rim, as he finished with 18 points and 9 rebounds.”

McCadden is a high academic player who is getting looked at from the ACC to the Big 10 to the Conference USA to the Ivy League. Just over the last week, McCadden picked up six more offers. Expect them to continue to come for him, he is a high level jack of all trades type player.
