First Half

It was a highly-anticipated matchup between one of the top teams in the state of North Carolina and another in South Carolina, as the players left it all out on the floor.  Concord First Assembly jumped out early to an early 14-6 lead but Aiken came back tough. From then on, it was a back-and-forth type game, with each team trading blows, as we ended in a 34-34 tie after one half.

Second Half

Concord came out strong and focused, led by senior Isaac Boothe and company.  They moved the ball extremely well, shared it around, and played poise despite Aiken trying to create some havoc defensively.  Concord was able to create an 8-10 point separation in the third quarter and held onto that for much of the second half.

Aiken though never gave up, led by 2021 RJ Felton.  They made a strong push at the end, cutting it down to as many as four points in the final minute of play but critical free throws from Concord sealed the win and a hard-fought victory.
