6’6 2020 Kahari Rogers: Liberty Heights (20 Points, 7-13 from the field, 3-8 from deep, 4 Rebounds, 2 Assists)
Kahari Rogers continues to show everyone that he’s a must watch guy for mid-major coaches. At 6’6 he can score from all over the court and in a bevy of ways. He’s a lethal spot up threat with the ability to create his own jumper off the bounce from beyond the arc or in the mid range. He’s an athletic slasher when driving and a super active defender on that end of the floor. He’s in a great spot on this Liberty Heights team, arguably in the best position to succeed in his high school career and he’s going to show everyone throughout his senior season that he belongs. Expect his offer list to grow before making a decision towards the end of the high school season.
6’6 2020 Reggie Raynor: Northwood Temple Academy (8-15 from the field, 6-8 from the line, 22 Points, 10 Rebounds)
Raynor is an elite athlete and he knows how to use those gifts at both ends of the floor. He lives above the rim and is capable of making a jaw dropping play at any point in time. Defensively he’s like a Swiss army knife, he can defend 3-4 positions on the floor with his length, lateral quickness, and explosiveness. As he becomes a more and more reliable jump shooter his offensive game will continue to open up. He’s made considerable strides in the right direction in that department and low-mid major D1 coaches should be watching along closely.
6’6 2021 Tyler Fearne: Concord First Assembly (23 Points, 8-13 from the field, 7-12 from deep, 6 Rebounds, 2 Assists)
Who doesn’t love shooters with size' Tyler Fearne is one of the elite marksmen from beyond the arc in NC’s 2021 class and he had an excellent performance for Concord First Assembly today. He has in the gym range and never seemed to force the issue on the offensive end in this contest. He does a really good job moving without the ball and making good decisions within the offense. As he continues to get stronger and more athletic, expect his recruitment to pick up in a considerable fashion, he has the modern skillset that coaches love.
6’3 2020 Carson McCorkle: Greensboro Day/Virginia Commit (13-18 from the field, 5-10 from deep, 31 Points, 4 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 6 Steals)
Carson is one of the smoothest scorers in the HoopState and Tony Bennett has one hell of a talent coming to Charlottesville next fall. The shooting guard is so calm, cool, and collected in every aspect of the game. He brings a certain level of stability to the lineup whenever he’s on the court and his ability to fit in the offense cannot go understated. He operates off the catch or the dribble and is a really good leaper in transition. Expect Carson to put together one hell of a season and lead his team on yet another deep playoff run.
6’0 2021 Brock Williams: Greensboro Day (5-7 from the field, 1-1 from the line, 11 Points, 3 Assists, 5 Steals)
Brock is one of the new pieces to this GDS lineup and he fit in incredibly well in his first game. Known as a high volume scorer from what he did at Burlington Christian, there were a lot of questions on how he’d fit in with some of the high level pieces that GDS has. Williams answered that question marvelously, using his active on ball defense and smooth runners in the lane to provide a huge impact at both ends of the floor. He’s not gonna be scoring 30+ every night like he did last season, but he’s going to be a huge piece of the puzzle on a GDS team that looks primed for another state title run.
