The Champion Showcase will be in full effect this weekend in Greensboro, with a field loaded with talent. There is no doubt that there will be a ton of Division I talent on display, kids making a name for themselves, and players just starting their recruiting process.

It may be one of the best events we have this year, so you don’t want to miss out.

Team: CEBA 2020

#1 BJ Freeman – 6’4″ Can play all five positions on the court on both ends. Gets a double-double (averages 16 points and 12 rebounds) almost every game and leads team assists, rebounds and blocks. One of the best natural passers. Unbelievable court vision. Has the ability to take over individually but still always gets teammates involved. Very crafty finisher around the rim with great spin and touch. Hard to stop when he is going towards the basket either driving from the wing or especially in transition. Excellent all-around player who has an extremely high ceiling. Will play at the next level.

#8 Joey McMullin – 6’2″ Played for years as a low post player and has good back to the basket footwork. Has the ability to post up in the low / mid-block with his back to the basket and create his own shot in a variety of ways. Recently has stepped out to play more of a three / wing role and has turned into a three-point shooter averaging over three 3’s per game made and shooting over 40% from the arc. Never afraid to take the big shot. Excellent free throw shooter. Leads team in scoring at almost 20 ppg.

#3 Machai Holt – 6’0″ Extremely athletic combo guard who routinely takes the other teams fastest/ best wing player defensively; good sliding defensive footwork. Very quick in every direction and plays above the rim. Gets many blocks coming from help side defense as well. Fast hands. Leads team in steals and fills up the stat sheet. Influences virtually every aspect of the game. Can lead team in scoring any given night. Great heart and motor.

#33 Jesse Walters – 5’11” True pass first point guard who can absolutely light it up from the 3-point line (over 40%). Shows good leadership qualities and has a very high basketball IQ.
