Phenom Hoop Report has been following 2020 Keon Ambrose-Hylton’s recruitment closely, as we recently were able to get in touch with Ambrose breaking down his final seven schools.
Now, he has announced his final five schools with Arkansas, Alabama, Dayton, NC State, and USC made the cut. Ambrose spoke to Phenom Hoops recently, breaking down each school and when he will be taking official visits.
See what he had to say:
—
Arkansas: “I’ve been watching a lot of head coach Eric Musselman’s games when he was at Nevada. I like his coaching style; high tempo. Coach Musselman seems like a fun guy. I love some of the things he does with the team and new recruits. I love his vision he has outlined to me and the development process he would take me through.”
Official visit: October 11-13
Alabama: “Head coach Nate Oats had a great couple of seasons at Buffalo. Another high energy, fast pace, good transition. They use their wings well. Looking forward to having more talks with Coach Oats on my development.”
Official visit: October 27-29
Dayton: “Dayton has been recruiting me since Day 1! I love my conversations with head coach Anthony Grant and his vision for me with the Flyers. I enjoyed my official visit and was embraced by the whole community.”
Official visit: September 6-8
NC State: “Great team, great transition. Head coach Kevin Keatts has stated I will make a huge impact in my freshman year. The Wolfpack seems insane, they definitely go hard for their team.”
Official visit: September 27-29
USC: “Love the pieces involved with this team. Head coach Andy Enfield is bringing in high-major players. Great academics, great fan base.”
Official visit: October 18-20
Why did these five schools make your list:
“I like the plans they have for me for my freshman year, coming into school and making an impact is great.”
As of right now, Ambrose looks to make his final decision in early November.
