6’3 ’21 Bailey Wiseman (TMP)

Is very crafty and can rotate between the 1 and 2 position but is the most productive with the ball in his hands so he can create for himself or others. Bailey can light it up as well from anywhere on the floor and has one of best midrange games I saw over the course of the event.

5’8 ’21 Gregory Brockington (NC Flames 2020)

Brockington is a gamer, one that is impossible to keep off the floor because of his ability to make plays. Gregory has deep range and is tenacious on ball defender. He will have a much bigger role on his high school team this year and is more than capable of running the show.

6’0 ’21 Michael Best Jr (Garner Road 2021 RW)

Best is one of the better scores I saw always putting pressure on the defense either getting to the basket or pulling up with one or two dribble midrange jumpers as well as from 3-point range. Very confident player who also excels on the defensive end he always wants the challenge of guarding the other team’s best perimeter player. Should be hearing his name around the state as one of the better 2021 in NC.

6’6 ’21 Nicholas Boone (Garner Road 2021 RW)

A long and versatile forward that certainly has a chance to turn into a very good player in 2021. Being one of the taller players on his team he was used in the post some so his lengthy frame gives him an advantage against smaller defenders. I think his best showings are when he is on the perimeter where is a knock down shooter and in the high post area. With added strength and more wing development he will be a sight to see I think his best basketball is ahead of him and really looking forward to seeing how he develops.

6’0 ’21 Kavan Horton (Team Vision NC Elite)

Horton is fun to watch he does a lot of the small things that you love to see from a PG. Applies pressure on defense gets out and runs in the open floor gets teammates involved and is a great communicator.

6’1” 2021 Colin Mills (Team Vision NC Elite)

Mills is a strong steady point guard for Team Vision, he is a very solid defender, he rebounds, and he takes care of the ball. Has always been known as hardnosed defender but over the week he showcased and improved offensive game that will surely allow him to garner some college interest.

6’8 ’21 Trelin Harper (Team Vision NC Elite)

Brought some size and interior presence for Team Vision. Harper never shied away from contact he looked to initiate it for the most part and was rewarded with numerous and one finishes throughout the weekend. In NC there aren’t to many post players his size in 2021 and should be consider one of the better posts for the 2021 class in NC.

6’5 ’21 Jacob Morgan (Carolina Riptide)

Morgan reminds me of the guy nobody wants to pick up during the pickup game then once he finally gets on the court his team wins each game and he is the best player. Morgan will never pass the look test, but the kid is a hooper he has a very high skill set and amazing IQ seems to always be in the right spot hit’s timely shots an overall winner. I think once he falls in love with the weight room who knows what level of college ball he will be able to play at, but I do believe he will be a college basketball player in his near future.

Callahan Reed 6’1 ’21 (Carolina Riptide)

Reed took a hard fall the 1st game and missed the next 5 and Riptide was never the same team after. I respect Reed you could tell he hated to sit out and miss games, but he never stopped cheering or supporting the rest of the team, he even came back to finish the weekend and fight through the pain. Before the injury Reed did what always does drop off dimes and shoot the ball at a high level he will make a college coach very happy one day a PG who can shoot pass and limit turnovers.

6’3 ’21 Christian Taylor (Carolina Riptide)

The unsung hero for Carolina Riptide was Christian kid motor is on go through the whole game did all the small garbage things. He rebounds, defend fight though screens dive for loose balls just the ultimate team guy that will help you win a lot of games.

6’2 ’20 Nasir Johnson (Carolina Knights)

Johnson is a versatile guard who can run the one or the two, but his biggest strengths are scoring and defending. Johnson looks to have added some good weight since the high school season ended and he used it to his advantage when attacking the basket and finishing through contact. You can count on him in tight games to go to the FT line and knock them down he rarely misses from there or in the midrange.

6’1 ’19 LJ Rogers (Carolina Knights)

Rogers dominated at times offensively during the week another versatile guard for the Knights who can fill in at the 1 or the 2. Rogers can score efficiently at all 3 levels can finish above the rim with a dunk or light it up from distance.

6’1 ’20 Jaden Hester (Carolina Knights)

Glad to see Hester back on the court looking better than ever. His ability to score the ball is great but he also does a lot more he rebounds well from the guard spot has good vision and is a heck of a defender. He had one of his better shooting performances going 6-8 from the 3-point line to finish with 26 points on day 3.

CC Elite 2021-2022

6’4 ’21 JP Haggarty (CC Elite 2021-2022)

Haggarty is a glue guy that helps you win games. He can initiate the offense so once he gets the rebound that’s when the break starts for his team he defends all over the floor has a nice frame and has a textbook jumper. Haggarty had a few eyes on him throughout the event and did a great job of showcasing his skillset.

5’7 ’21 Torrey Brown (Team Trezz)

His patience off the high ball screen, ability to make the right read and knocking down jumpers were a big part of Team Trezz going 6-1 over the week. Brown is an underrated guard in the NC ’21 class that more people should talk about he is another guy who will help you win games.
