Hundreds of teams made their way to the Fort Mill, South Carolina area to gear up for what they hope to be a special July season as a team and for their players. The play throughout each game was competitive, as players started to earn recognition for their play on the court. Here are names that stood out.

2023 6’6 Addison Archer (Asheville Game Changers)

Addison is a difference maker on both ends of the floor with his quick athletic ability and length. He showcased why he is one of the best young and rising shot blockers around the area but also runs the floor incredibly well and is always active. Still so young but a lot of upside.

2023 6’3 Athan Gill (Asheville Game Changers)

Gill is a strong-bodied prospect that plays several positions on the floor. He displayed a confident outside shot but works best when he is using his frame and athletic ability to attack the rim. To start the day, he had the play of the day when he threw it down on top of his defender.

2022 5’10 Jahmari Kennerly (Palmetto City Hurricanes)

Quick lead guard all over the floor, as opponents had trouble staying in front of him when the ball was in his hands. If he wasn’t attacking and looking to finish, he broke down defenders with his dribble and set up his teammates. Loved his quickness he showed.

2022 6’3 Julius Reese Jr. (Team Winston 15u)

Reese is a known name and he showed why to start the day. Just an absolute scorer no matter what position he plays. Whether it was scoring in transition or using his body and strength to score down low, he couldn’t be stopped.

2022 5’10 MJ Raye (Team Winston 15u)

Raye displayed a high IQ in the open floor and opponents couldn’t get under his skin. He was always active on the floor on both ends and was simply a playmaker for his team. When MJ had the ball in his hands, he was able to dish with precision or finish in transition. Playing full court basketball is where he really excelled.

2021 6’4 Omarion Farrar (Capital City Pacers)

Such a unique, versatile prospect on the floor. Can play big down low eve at 6’4 but also spread the floor and create mismatches. His ability to handle the ball on offense, rebound, and score inside and out was impressive.

2023 London Johnson (Team United 15u)

Come in known as a scorer and shooter and displayed it. Knocking down outside shots early, he does so with confidence on the floor and with a smooth release. It is only the beginning for this young man. He can play with the ball or off the ball, has great length and skillset that should only get better with age.
