In a battle of Queen City powers we saw a highly competitive matchup, where two well coached programs battled it out for two half’s.

Fort Mill, South Carolina– Both squads played hard nosed basketball, it was a fast paced contest full of runs throughout. Both teams worked hard to establish a rhythm and take control, in the end the shot making ability of the Aces won out.

Standouts

5’7 2021 Amir Davenport (Aces)- The floor general for this group, Davenport was good all weekend he’s a productive player. Davenport led this group in scoring for the championship game, he really shot the rock at a high percentage. Off pick N rolls Davenport made good decisions, he was in attack mode, and took whatever the defense gave.

6’3 2021 Gavin Bouldin (Aces)- A true dog on both ends, I didn’t see many players that could match his energy. Offensively Bouldin got busy down low in the paint, at 6’3 he’s got a reliable inside game, he runs the floor hard, and finished strong around the cup. Bouldin was forced to be a factor in the paint and on the boards for a thin Aces front line, but naturally he’s a guard, Bouldin can bring it up the floor and take his ma off the dribble, Bouldin also showed the three point touch.

6’1 2021 Stephon Richards (Royals)- Richards was the best player on the floor for his side, and remained in attack mode majority of the game. For majority of the first half Richards got to the basket at will, he ended the game with 13 points total 11 were scored in the first period. Richardson is a long 6’1 and he gets nice lift and extension of finishes, despite a slender frame Richardson can surprisingly take on contact and finish through it.
