This past weekend, we were fortunate enough to get another viewing of DTA Elite, which is easily one of the top non-shoe circuit teams in North Carolina. They have quality coaching, a clear identity, and a roster full of scholarship-worthy prospects. At least a handful of these players should be recruited at the Division I level, which certainly includes their floor general, Anthony Allen. Last season at Independence, he shared the backcourt with guys like Raja Milton and AJ McKee, which limited his offensive touches but ultimately highlighted his ability to shine within any type of role. Fast-forward to now, and Allen is arguably playing his best basketball on either end of the floor.
