No. 29 Bryan Randleman
“Bryan is a really quick guard who was fearless going to the basket. He has a nice, smooth, left guard and has good stop and go deception off the dribble. He needs to continue to work on his jump shot and defensively. He could be a little more aggressive on the ball and rotate better off the ball. He can really create for others and showed that he has great penetration ability. He has great potential.”

No 46 Jamael Carter
“He has good ability to attack the basket but needs to make better decision after his dribble penetration. Needs to show more energy and effort on both sides of the ball. Displayed a nice shot and range.” Carter excelled in areas such as Range of shot on the floor, use of off hand, penetration ability, defense both on and off the ball, while Carter showed a great attitude on the court.

No. 74 Tyler Dearman
“Creative shot maker in transition and attacking the rim. He showed a solid outside shot but needs to get stronger and learn how to include his teammates. He definitely has a scorers mentality.” Dearmon’s attitude and effort was fantastic all day long, while his ability to score was tremendous. He has a nice range on his shot anywhere on the court, with solid shooting mechanics. It was a pleasure to watch this young man work on the court and light up the scoreboard.

No 78 Chris Leach
“Leach needs to get stronger and defend better in man to man defense situations. He has a nice jump shot and range with a quick release. Has good length and uses it well when he attacks the rim. He just needs to continue to improve his strength and agility.” Leach was a solid guard, knocking down three’s, using his length to finish at the rim when he could, and overall was a great team player for Team 9.

No. 96 Kareem Lawson
“Lawson was a strong and confident player who can knock down open shots and use his athleticism and strength to get to his spots. He can really defend and is a versatile defender. He needs to improve his ball handling in traffic and back down moves off dribble.” Lawson excelled in many areas and overall, did so much for his team at the event. He scored at will and what really stood out was his defense in all areas. He is a prospect that people should watch for and we are excited to watch him this season.

No. 118 Jalen Niles
“Niles is a solid combo guard who shoots the ball well. He needs to improve his decision making and ball handling but overall, he is a solid defender who competes and wants the best for his team. He showed great competitiveness and showed that he wants to continue to get better as a player.” His shot making ability really stood out in several areas, as he had solid shooting mechanics and has the ability to finish at the rim.

No. 135 Jonathan Breeland
“This young man is quick and athletic combo guard with the ability to get to the bucket and finish around the rim. He needs to work on his awareness but he was a great teammate and a very coachable player.” It was a pleasure to watch Jonathan on the court, as eh showed a great attitude and is coachable, something that programs really look for at the next level. As he continues to improve his overall ability, we can’t wait to see the improvement in this young man from his hard work.

No. 143 Justin Lucas
“Athletic build with good length as a shooting guard. Can slash and get to the rim. Continue to work on moving without the ball and it will lead to more scoring opportunities. Overall though, this young man had a good attitude and was very coachable.” This young man’s penetration ability and quickness really displayed well on the court, as he finished several times at the rim. He also was very good on the defensive side of the ball in several areas.

No. 192 Josh Hall
“This young man can play on or off the ball but may be better off the ball. Gambles a bit too much in transition but overall is a solid defender in the half court. He needs to rebound a little better but overall, was very coachable, showing a great attitude towards the game, and takes criticism well.” It was a pleasure to have Josh at our camp and he displayed that he can be a lockdown defender in the half court, something every program needs. If he continues to develop more on the offensive side of the ball, he could be a true stat stuffer.

No. 210 Marcotis Hall
“This young man is a high motor kind of kid with good rebounding intangibles and finishes around the basket well. He has good length to defense in the post and on the perimeter. He if continues to work on his shooting mechanics and ball handling skills to transition more on the wing. He was a great kid to coach and has the ability to make players around him a lot better.”

No. 228 Justin McKoy
“Justin has good size and length as a young hybrid three or four. He can knocked down the open three point shot and finish at the rim. Must get stronger and be more physical and aggressive. I think he will be a better player he transition from 9th to 12th grade.” Still young but with great size, McKoy already is heading in the right direction and excelled in several areas against older prospects at the Phenom 150. He had a great attitude and was a team player overall.
