#2- 5’4 ’23 Jordan Lineberger- Though small, Lineberger was probably the most polished all-around middle school prospect on display. He already possesses a strong feel for the game and understands how to make plays for himself or others with relative ease. Lineberger handles the ball well and sees the entire floor, which allowed him to accumulate plenty of assists. His future is certainly bright, especially if he’s able to continue adding size and strength.
#3- 5’6 ’24 Maddox Jack- The young guard prospect took some time to ease into his comfort zone, but then applied constant pressure as a shooter. Jack proved to be a great spot-up threat with quality shooting mechanics. He knocked down shots from midrange, three-point territory, and even made some plays off the bounce. Jack will likely be a nice contributor at the next level, given his ability to already impact the game quite well.
#6- 5’7 ’24 Izaiah Littlejohn- Of this group, Littlejohn was easily the scrappiest and most high-energy player. He fought hard on every defensive possession and showed a true desire to make the hustle plays whenever possible. Littlejohn operated nicely in his role on offense and took advantage of open opportunities whenever possible. Littlejohn made numerous plays on both sides of the ball and provided his team with a nice glue-guy presence.
#31- 6’0 ’23 Isaiah Joyner- The all-around wing/forward prospect did a great job of making plays throughout the day. He’s a three-level scorer with great vision and a clear willingness to set up his teammates. Joyner sees the floor well and does a great job of making his presence felt in transition. He arguably has the best blend of productivity and long-term upside, which should make him a prospect to keep an eye on going forward.
#52- 6’3 ’23 Jaxon Burnette- Already blessed with an advanced physical frame, Burnette is probably the most intriguing of the group. He’s equipped with a nice-looking jumper, both from midrange and beyond, and possesses great hands. Burnette was a great option for the two-man game, as he is capable of popping or rolling and finding success. He also utilized his body well to be the top middle school rebounder by a landslide. It’ll be exciting to watch his continued growth.
