6’4 2019 Josh Nickelberry

Josh Nickelberry, an ESPN 4-Star who recently committed to the Louisville Cardinals under newly employed head coach Chris Mack, is as-advertised! Nickelberry as we all know, possess a smooth shooting stroke and can score in bunches whether in transition or in the half court. The biggest challenge for Nickelberry this year will be transitioning into an on-ball guard and initiating the offense. This is a must for this Northwood Temple team to make a playoff run and ultimately bring them their first State Championship. Josh has spent countless hours in the gym and weight room transforming his body and looks to already be in mid-season form! He handled the pressure extremely well, not getting flustered and got him and his teammates the shots they wanted in their runs.

6’3 2020 Jamarhi Harvey

Harvey, a transfer from Freedom Christian is easily one of the top guards/players in North Carolina’s 2020 class. Harvey is a two-way combo guard, who can either initiate the offense, run the lanes, and guard just about anybody on the floor. He has the ability to post up smaller defenders, possess an underrated handle, and can score at will. Harvey and Nickelberry will be one of the top backcourts in the state this year. Latest schools to reach out this week: Wichita State and College of Charleston.

6’7 2019 Brandon Franklin

A returner in Franklin for this Eagles squad is a 6’7” perimeter shooter. Franklin shot the ball well during the open run but must continue to fill out and become more aggressive in attacking the rim. Once he showcases this, coaches will be all over him. Franklin will play a pick and pop roll for this team creating mis-match problems while stretching the floor and creating driving lanes for his teammates. With his ability to knock down the three he should be able to average double figures for this program.

6’1 2019 Charles Page

Page, another transfer from Fayetteville Christian is a pure scorer. Page can put it on the floor and shoot it from deep. He also must continue to fill out his body down the road but for now, his scoring ability makes up for it. He will play a big role in this team’s success and should get a lot of clean looks from the heavy attention on Harvey and Nickelberry.

6’2 2019 Trae Jackson

Jackson is an undersized post but thrives off of pure heart and hustle. Jackson is extremely athletic, can guard every position on the floor, and knows how to rim run. He must continue to polish his skill set but will definitely be a nightmare for opposing teams. He is the engine to this Northwood temple squad and is the vocal leader on the floor.
