Team 2 – Coach Sheldon Everett

#2 5’5” 2023 Bradin Minton of Church Hill Middle School (Church Hill, TN)
Minton came in with a full effort, very coachable mentality, despite being the youngest player in camp. He is a good passer displaying very good vision and court awareness. Minton’s camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Braiden is a good passer, always has his head up in transition. He makes good decisions and gives good effort on defense.”

#19 5’10” 2019 Niko Soriano of Fundamental Prep (Greenville, SC)
Soriano gave great effort from the opening tip to the final whistle of camp. He enjoys doing all of the tough guy and hustle things that help teams win. Soriano’s camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Niko plays with great energy and has a high motor. He is a very active rebounder on both ends and a good on the ball defender. Slashed well to the basket on offense.”

#22 5’10” 2018 Levert Smith of Oak Ridge High School (Oak Ridge, TN)
Smith came into camp showing a great attitude and basketball IQ. He attacked the rim with a purpose and showed great range with confidence on the ball. Smith’s camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Levert is a lefty combo guard who can really attack the rim. Off the bounce he knows how to use his body to shield defenders off and finish lay ups. He has a good stroke from 3-point range and is a good decision maker/passer in the open court.”

#40 6’ 2018 Kyle Tracy of Spartanburg Day School (Spartanburg, SC)
Kyle showed up as a great team player with an high IQ. He is a multi purpose player who excels doing all the things that win ball games on both ends. Tracy’s camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Kyle is a combo guard who can score at all three levels. He attacks the basket aggressively and finishes through contact. He is left handed and plays with a great feel, a good passer.”

#43 6’1” 2019 Brody Potter of Dobyns Bennett High School (Kingsport, TN)
Potter plays the game with great energy, doing all the little things on the floor. He is very coachable and carried a great understanding of team play. Potter’s camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Brody plays with good energy, he is active on both the offensive and defensive boards. He is a slashing type guard who creates opportunities for his team mates by screening.”

#60 6’2” 2021 Logan Higgins of Mountain Heritage High School (Burnsville, NC)
Higgins is a very fundamental player showing a high basketball IQ. He has good court vision to go along with a smooth shooting stroke with deep range. Higgins camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Logan has a very good shooting stroke, beyond the 3-point line. He is crafty off the catch with the ability to shoot or create space and attack the rim. He finishes with both hands around the rim. Good passer with vision.”

#63 6’2” 2021 Mason Montgomery of East High School (Bluff City, TN)
Montgomery showed to be a great team player throughout camp. He did all of the little things like playing with a motor, rebounding and moving without the ball. Montgomery’s camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Mason is a very unselfish player. He screens for team mates, rebounds his position well and does not shy away from contact.”

#81 6’5” 2021 Nathan Brafford of Tuscola High School (Waynesville, NC)
Brafford gave great effort throughout the entire day. He shot the ball very well and showed solid passing skills and court awareness. Brafford’s camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Nate has a good stroke from 3-point range. He is a long and lanky forward that blocks shots around the rim. Very coachable and a solid passer.”

#84 6’6” 2021 Cade Looney of Grundy High School (Grundy, VA)
Looney displayed an excellent attitude and is a team player. He scored the ball well as an inside-out type of post. Looney’s camp coach Sheldon Everett stated, “Cade is a low post player with range out to the 3-point line. He is able to finish around the rim with contact. Knows how to change sides of the rim on low post finishes.”
