Team 8

No. 9 5’8 ’21 Hamilton Campbell (George Wythe HS, Wytheville, VA

Hamilton plays like a true point guard. He looks to get his teammates open and takes command of the game. Only a freshman, we were impressed with his overall poise and maturity of the game. He led by example. Hamilton was very vocal which is what you want out of your floor general. He has all the intangibles that often don’t show up in the box score. Hamilton’s a great teammate illustrated by his court vision and ability to make timely passes.

No. 28 5’11 ’21 Kaleb Meredith (University School, Chuckey, TN)

Kaleb was rock steady throughout camp and was effective on both ends of the court. Kaleb is a really good “on ball” defender and ran the floor extremely well. He finished well at the rim using both hands. While Jaime didn’t take a lot of shots, he shot the ball very well. He moved well without the ball. Kaleb averaged 11.7 PPG and earned one game MVP vote for his all around play. The next step for his development is work on creating his own shot off the dribble.

No. 33 6’0 ’18 Jalen Gool (CFA, Charlotte, NC)

Jalen is a very athletic guard that runs the floor extremely well. He can get to the rim and make plays. His strongest attribute is his “on the ball” defense. Jalen really used his length to get steals and get out in transition. He averaged 11.3 PPG and he did knock down open shots with consistency, especially his midrange pull up jumper. Overall, Jalen provided solid senior leadership and gave maximum effort. He sported a good team first approach attitude. Jalen feels more comfortable with the ball in his hands and could work on moving without the ball more.

No. 49 5’11 ’21 Ethan Bradford (East HS, Piney Flats, TN)

Ethan demonstrated a nice shooting touch. He has good mechanics and fundamentals. We were impressed with his ability to move without the ball to get open. While Ethan made some nice plays off the dribble where he created his own shot and shots for others.

No. 54 6’2 ’20 Luke Burnett (Heritage HS, Walland, TN)

It was a very impressive camp for Luke. He averaged 22.7 PPG and made 2nd Team All Camp. Simply put, he showed a complete game! He moves great without the ball and the floor extremely well and has the ability to knock down shots with high efficiency. We were impressed with his high basketball IQ and overall feel for the game. Only a sophomore, Luke has a nice future if he continues to work on both ends of the court. He’s a complete player and is very coachable.

No. 70 6’3 ’20 Emory Lanier (Webb HS, Knoxville, TN)

Emory is only starting to scratch the surface on his long range potential. He has a nice blend of athleticism and skill sets that will make him a coveted D1 prospect. More importantly, he is just learning the game. First of all, he plays both ends of the court and can get to the rim with the best of them. He can play and guard multiple positions and we were impressed with his hard nose “on the ball” defense. Emory averaged 12.3 PPG and made the 2nd Team All Camp.

No. 75 6’4 ’19 Preston Quillin (New Hope Academy, Kingsport, TN)

Preston made the biggest impact with his rebounding ability. He plays well with his back to the back and can step out and hit the midrange jump shot. The effort was definitely there. The next step in his development is to get physically stronger which will allow to be more effective on the interior. He does have a good understanding of the game and as he matures so will his game.

No. 91 6’7 ’19 Justin Headrick (Stone Memorial HS, Crossville, TN)

You have to really like the upside when you’re 6’7 and have the ability to step out and shoot the perimeter shots. Justin rebounds the ball very well and runs the floor. He has very soft hands in the post and can knock down transition 3-pointers. We were impressed with his ability to put the ball on the floor and can play with his back to the basket or as a face up 4-man. Justin averaged 11.3 PPG and showcase nice mobility for his size and position.
