6’5” 2021 Jadun Michael
Burlington School (Burlington, NC)
Michael is a two way stud, who is able to both defend the point of attack and create plays. He has a great frame and is very strong. Burlington School does a great job of setting him up all over the floor to utilize mismatches and give different looks. Michael picked up a Hofstra offer here, his first off, expect many more to come his way.
6’7” 2021 Jamylan Blakeney
Forest Hills HS (Marshville, NC)
Every time out, Blakeney gets better and better. Always a great frame with some skill, he is starting to really put things together. Blakeney has incredible length to go along with explosion around the rim. He can put it on the floor in space as well as switch up or down on defense. Even on a senior, guard heavy team, Blakeney is able to carve out his space. A nice upside here.
6’ 2021 Breon Pass
Reidsville HS (Reidsville, NC)
Pass is a tough minded lead guard who is just able to get things done. He is an efficient scorer at all 3 levels while being able to create and set up his teammates. Pass is a tough defender at the point of attack and always seems to find a way to get it done, even as his team’s primary option. A guy who always seems to find a way.
6’6” 2023 Mehki Grant
Comenius School (Charlotte, NC)
Grant is only in 7th grade, wearing a size 18 shoe and arms that seem to hand down to his knees. The lefty showcased coordination at touch. He still has along ways to go, but playing against juniors and seniors, he was able to block some shots and even knocked down a couple 3s. Grant plays with an incredible motor and just teased with the amount of upside he has.
5’11” 2021 KJ Garrett
High Point Christian (High Point, NC)
Garrett is quick, tough and skilled. A great combination for any guard, but especially for one who is so young playing with and against older guys. He has a poise on the floor with the ability to make plays on both ends. Garrett plays the game with a chip on his shoulder.
6’3” 2022 Jalen Hood-Schifino
Northside Christian (Charlotte, NC)
Hood-Schifino’s game is well beyond his years. He has an incredible poise and pace to his game. He has a great frame, already and he sees the floor very well. It is hard to believe this was Hood-Shifino’s first high school game played, he is going to be a good one.
