6’5” Jaden Springer (Rocky River/B. Maze Elite)
It would be nearly impossible to form a list of the most buzz-worthy players without highlighting 6-foot-5 Jaden Springer. The Charlotte native has been the clear-cut top 2020 prospect in the state since his freshman year and has drawn the attention of all high-level programs across the country. Few players have the natural scoring ability of Springer, who has somehow become even more consistent and efficient over the last few months. The expectations are great with Springer, but appropriately so, considering his incredibly high ceiling and already impressive production.

Recent Offers: Vanderbilt, Georgia, Texas, Maryland, South Carolina

5’11” Jalen Cone (Walkertown/Team Loaded NC)
Over the last year, no North Carolina prospect in the Class of 2020 has generated a larger fan base than Jalen Cone. The hyper-athletic point guard was the unquestioned leader for Walkertown HS, a squad which he led in various statistical categories. Now back with Team Loaded NC on the 17U Gold Gauntlet, Cone continues to expand his game. He has been more consistent from three-point range and is still showing off the same signature explosiveness that we’ve all come quite fond of. Size will always be the question mark with Cone, but he has the heart of a lion and is willing to lead a team into battle.

Recent Offers: Ole Miss, Hampton, UNCG, Virginia Tech, High Point

6’9” Justice Ajogbor (Christ School/PSB)
The Class of 2020 doesn’t feature a ton of size from North Carolina, but Justice Ajogbor certainly deserves appropriate recognition for his consistently high level of play. The 6-foot-9 big man possesses an incredible frame to pair with his blossoming skillset on offense. He has remained loyal to PSB since his ascension to stardom, which has included interest from nearly every high-major program in the country. Ajogbor does a fantastic job finishing around the rim while rebounding at a strong rate on both ends of the floor. If his perimeter shooting continues to improve, there will be very few opponents capable of containing Ajogbor.

Recent Offers: Davidson, UConn, Mississippi State, Auburn, Tennessee

6’8” Day’Ron Sharpe (South Central/Garner Road)
The spotlight was inevitably set to find Day’Ron Sharpe sooner than later, and it appears that time is now. Standing at 6-foot-8, Sharpe has already grown into a monster rebounder and now has the size necessary to bully opponents at the rim whenever he desires. He plays with an impressive motor and knows how to utilize his body to make plays around the basket. Sharpe has potential to rise even more over the next few months, but only time will tell how strong of a prospect he can become.

Recent Offers: Clemson, Wake Forest, UNC, Virginia, East Carolina

6’7” Jaden Seymour (Northside Christian/Team Wall)
As talented as the aforementioned four prospects are, one could argue that Jaden Seymour has as much upside as any of them. He is certainly the most versatile of the group on both sides of the ball, able to defend multiple positions comfortably on one end while constantly exploiting mismatches on the other. Seymour is long and plays with a terrific motor. Opponents will be left helpless once the two-way forward starts to consistently knock down shots from three-point range. These next few months with Team Wall should allow Seymour to enjoy a rise in his recruitment.
