Court 1 Standouts
Treyvon Byrd, 6’5 2021 G with NC Ice 15u – Kid is a total mismatch at this level. Long player
with the type of game that allows him to take over whenever he wants to. Good handles, PG
ability, easy on the glass, and an explosive level athlete. This is type of kid that high major
programs need to put on watch. Easily could have been a dominate player on the 17u side. One
of the more exciting prospects period in this event but has room to mature on several fronts at
this time.

Malachi Barton, 5’10 2021 G with WCBA Blue 15u – Back to back solid games in this event
for Barton. Kid has a great motor, toughness, and unselfish nature that other players just like
playing with. He may be on the smaller side for his position but he has the strength and
toughness needed to power through that and put up numbers in the process. Solid glue piece
already with the potential to develop into more as he continues to grow and mature. We enjoyed
watching him work.

Devin Boston, 6’3 2021 W with Carolina Storm 15u – This review isn’t for what he gave us
on the floor but rather for the potential player we see in him. Kid has good length, moves well,
and shows signs but the frustrating part is that he does not yet know how to put it all together yet
it seems. He will grow and get stronger and as he does his status as a prospect should rise as a
result. He’s not there yet, in fact he has a ways to go, but we can see he’s on the road. The rest is
up to him.

Ryan Roberts, 6’ 2021 G with NC Ice 15u – Ryan’s team was out of this one relatively early
but that did not keep him from fighting till the end. Snipper hit 5 from deep in this one, making
the most of his touches along the way. Showed some toughness along the way, fighting on the
glass, on D, and going after loose balls. The team may not have had it’s best showing today but
the way he played hard and was productive says volumes about who this kid is as a player and
person.

Jaiven Lowery-Isaac, 6’1 2021 F with Carolina Storm – Big bodied forward has some power
to his game and knows how to use that to his advantage on the floor. His game isn’t where it
needs to be yet as his decision making and ability to finish need some work but he is a load to
handle at this level inside which makes him impactful. Good on the glass and can create space.
Will need to grow some and learn to finish better to see his stock as a prospect take off as he has
no perimeter game at this point but like we said, he is effective at this level.
