Jeremy Gregory

Jeremy Gregory is the epitome of productivity. He quietly goes about his work each and every game. Whether it is for his high school team, North Mecklenburg, or for Team Charlotte, his travel ball team. Gregory is the type of player that plays well within the framework of the game. He has the ability to post up or step out and hit the midrange jumper or occasionally knock down a 3-pointer.

In the two games for Team Charlotte at the Teammates Nationals, Gregory works really hard for low-post position. He sits low and uses his girth and frame to seal the defender. Once he establishes position, he has passer friendly hands and a nifty turn around jumper where he gets square to the rim. He has a soft shooting touch and is almost automatic from the paint. More importantly, Gregory has a lot of patience and is a willing passer out of the post.

Currently, sporting offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte and South Florida, Gregory is also getting interest from Butler, Clemson, Georgetown, Louisville, Marquette, NC State, South Carolina and Texas A&M. Gregory also has excellent length with his 7’2 wingspan. More importantly, Gregory is a fundamentally sound, has a high basketball IQ, is a strong two-handed rebounder who makes excellent outlet passes off defensive rebounds. In the age where fans are enamored with freakiest athleticism, Gregory seems to alway produce. You can always count on double digits points and rebounds each and every outing.
